Olive Z. Kigongo is the current president of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI). She has served for two full terms of five years. December 2011 was elected for another five year term. She is a leading entrepreneur with multiple business interests. When she first ventured into the business of beauty products to add to her numerous business endeavours, she sought to provide a service no one else seemed to be offering. And with that, she recently officially launched a natural skincare brand onto the market.
Anisha has always been passionate about beauty products, travelling and cuisine.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations from the University Of Dundee, Scotland and this is how here drive the ensure the development of Uganda as a whole comes in play and she does this through the empowerment of farmers working closely with Amagara Skincare.
As part of the team she beings her expertise in marketing with the aim to deliver return on her Amagara’s investment and other performance matrix including growth of market share, increased product uptake, enhancing customer value propositions and improved brand equity.
Shakib- Shakib Nsubuga is a dynamic multifaceted entrepreneur with a keen interest in Innovation and systems development. His specialty is in business strategy and performance evaluation in driving business development.
He has been at the helm of establishing the Classifieds Sector of one of the largest internet companies in Africa- AFRICA INTERNET GROUP with the position of Country Manager for Uganda. He holds a BSC Biomedical Sciences from University of Manchester and Masters in Public health from University of Salford in Manchester. He relishes the opportunities of creating world class African brands.
Siki has always had a passion for international development, especially within the African continent. After pursuing her undergraduate degree in International Media and Communications at the University of Nottingham, she went on to complete her MSc in Comms (Political and Strategic Communications ) at the London School of Economics. She has worked at a multitude of organisations ranging from the NRC (Norwegian Refugee Council) to UNAIDS. However, she has always maintained a keen interest in beauty and skincare and has sought for ways to combine her background in development to the idea of creating a product that would assist in the efforts to empower locals to become self sustainable. Combining her interest in this field, and her background, Siki used her expertise to successfully launch Amagara Skincare, and she's still adamant in her pursuit to make it one of Africa's renown skincare brands.
